Sine Wave Distortion Circuit Using Exponential Amplifier

The circuit is a modification of an op-amp inverting amplifier, replacing the input resistor with a diode to create an inverting antilogarithmic/exponential amplifier. As U1's output is not linear, U1 significantly increases the distortion of the incoming low-distortion sine wave. This circuit could find use as a distortion circuit in a synthesizer.
