Circuit Description

Graph image for High-Side Switch BJT

Circuit Graph

Circuit used to switch a motorcycle turn signal. Voltage on the motorcycle is +14.4vdc when the bike is runing and +12.0vdc when the bike is not runing. The turn signal draws 80mA @ 14.4vdc (round up to 100mA for circuit design) 2N3906 PNP Transistor switches the LOAD via the 2N3904 NPN Transistor. The 2N3904 control signal comes from an Arduino Nano (0vdc to 5vdc)
