AM Modulator and Demodulator

Circuit Description

Circuit Graph

This circuit has 2 stages: a modulator or another demodulator. The modulator stage is designed for amplitude modulation of an analog signal. The carrier is a 100 Khz sinusoidal signal and the carrier is a 1 Khz sinusoidal signal. The demodulating stage uses a diode as an envelope detector and an RC filter to eliminate high frequencies. Finally an op amp is used to improve the output voltage level.
