Troubleshooting memory errors

If you receive a "simulator out of memory" error, do some or all of the following to generate less data: 

• Place fewer probes on the design (plot fewer variables at a time)
• For Transient or Interactive simulation, increase maximum time step size in the Simulation settings 
• For Transient or Interactive simulation, change simulation start time so that the grapher just displays the time range you are interested in
• For AC sweep, decrease the number of points calculated
• For DC sweep, decrease the number of nested sweeps
• Stop the simulation when not needed
